Going beyond merely using new technologies, he and his research team are also designing methods to exploit technologies to their fullest extent. They are questioning established ideas and proposing new lines of research by integrating modern technologies, breaking the interfaces between interdisciplinary domains, and developing advanced models and solution algorithms for the diverse problems that arise in urban centres.
